We are moving to Goodreads!

Big announcement everyone!

After almost 4 years of BookClubFiction living on LiveJournal, we are packing our bags and heading over to make a new home on Goodreads!

LJ has been slowly winding down for a long time now but somehow our bookclub kept going strong. Unfortunately it caught up with us this last year and we've really struggled to have as much participation as we did before. We've tried many things but nothing seemed to work! We are hoping that fully moving over to Goodreads where most of us already hang out will bring life back to our awesome club :)

This bookclub has meant so much to a lot of us, helping us find new books and genres that we would have never tried on our own. Making new friends and discovering new favorite books and authors. We hope you join us at Goodreads and that we can keep having good times together!

Join us at Goodreads!

If you have Extra Seconds please let us know your LJ and Goodreads name so we can line up your different accounts without any confusion. Please leave a comment here or at Goodreads, or email us if you'd like some privacy :)

Missing mailmen and shrinking house

Hi, I am having alot of trouble remembering a story I once read and I was wondering if it might sound familiar to anyone. The story is about a mailman who moves to a new city for a new job. This particular town has had three mailmen in as many months. No one knew what happened to the missing mailmen. The new mailman soon encounters a house on his route that he doesn't want to go near. It is the last house on a dead end street. Every day that he sees the house it appears to be getting smaller and smaller. I remember that he discovers that the mailmen all disappear because of this house. At the end the mailman disappears with the house. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me save my sanity.
